Celebration Collection (Holiday 2021)

Released: October 2021

Hello! OPI caps off their 40th anniversary celebration with a spirited Holiday ’21 nail collection – Celebration! OPI Celebration Collection is a festive palette that will put you in party mode with 15 shades available in matching OPI GelColor, Infinite Shine and Nail Lacquer, including 12 limited-edition, hyper-saturated holographic + creme shades and three specialty glitters that are like confetti in a bottle.

An LA spin on winter white and holographic cosmic black (Snow Day in LA, Turn Bright After Sunset) contrast with electrifying shades of pink and teal that will make you want to pull an all-brighter (Big Bow Energy; Mylar Dreams; Ready, Fête, Go). Futuristic blues (Ring in the Blue Year, LED Marquee, All is Berry & Bright) and mesmerizing red, fuchsia, and berry hues (Maraschino Cheer-y, Paint the Tinseltown Red, OPI Loves to Party, My Color Wheel is Spinning) bring major atmos-cheer, making your nails the life of the party.

And now for the treat topper: three specialty glitters add a festive touch to any shade in this collection. Formulated with a translucent base for layering over color, vibrant jewel toned glitter particles (Cheers to Mani Years), purple and gold glitter with holographic flecks (Confetti Ready), and red, green, and gold holiday hues (You Had Me at Confetti) are like a sprinkle of magic.

On to the Colors!

The application of these were all two coats except Ring in the Blue Year this needed three. The coverage is uncanny and these go on like butter.

Maraschino Cheer-y
This is a deep red with a purple faint shimmer. Its a wonderful Christmas red – but sadly as you already know so many reds….. You probably don’t need to bother unless you love reds.

Ring in the Blue Year
This bright blue applies great, it reminds me of some other bright blues we’ve seen in the past

All is Berry & Bright
Another blue-purple cream reminds me of a blueberry almost. It applied wonderfully too – I think two coats would be perfect

OPI ♥ to Party
This deep purple is beautiful but its clearly been done before – I do have to say this applies better than all the previous ones

Big Bow Energy
This bright bubble gum pink is amazing. I really do like this one there have been bright pinks in the past however this one is almost jelly-like (yeah remember those?!). The application was amazing too!

Snow Day in LA
This white is so beautiful – it’s a bright white with a white shimmer in it too. I’m a sucker now for whites.

My Color Wheel is Spinning
Now we’re into the Holos! These are super pretty but so hard to capture in pictures! This reminded me of Berry Fairy Fun but it is different.

Ready, Fete, Go
Wow this teal green holo is amazing.

Paint the Tinseltown Red
This one I was expecting to be redder, it’s actually way lighter than I was expecting. It is closer to Go with the lava flow than other reds.

LED Marquee
Bright holo blue is gorgeous on – I did check to see if it was similar to some of the previous shimmery blues but this one is unique.

Mylar Dreams
This is a bright pink holo color, super pretty yet again. Unique for OPI

Turn Bright After Sunset
I was so excited for this one its really beautiful but as you’ll see below its identical to Heart and Coal from last year

Cheers to Mani Years, You had me at Confetti, and Confetti Ready
Here are the limited edition glitters, these are clearly meant to be toppers. I’m sure that if you use the sponge trick you could get full coverage.
