YAY! Frist time using a color from Starlight! This is an ombre manicure – to do my ombres i do use a makeup spong and bend it in half and use the edge to dab color on. I also do use a latex skin barrier to ensure the gel doesn’t get onto the skin. Anyways, on to the colors!
The base I used is I Have A Herring Problem (The Impressionist) which i have used prior – it’s very thin and does take approximately 4-5 coats to get opaque. I think next time i will use a darker grey then this color over it. It’s a beautiful grey with gold and silver shimmer in it. The tip/darker color is a black base with black glitter in this but its so thick you cant really tell, it also has a silver shimmer in it too. It applied great – but since I was just using it for ombre I did not actually paint it on.
